TALE – At the camp, it's a peaceful day. Everyone is betting on Evrard and Laurent arrival time. In the afternoon, hearing the noise of an engine, we climb up the rocks behind the camp. We were expecting to see Ingkasi speedboat looming between the icebergs, and we are all surprised to see the Donna Wood coming straight to us. We rejoice at seeing again this oak tall ship that brought us from Iceland to Greenland.
We call them on VHF channel 16 :
– Donna Wood, Donna Wood, for Yann. Can you hear me?(*)
– Hello everyone ! Egill speaking, where are you guys?
– Hello Egill, good to see you. Our basecamp is just behind the rocks. Welcome to Harefjord!
– Great ! If that’s ok, I will bring our passengers to visit your basecamp. Oh, and we have too many eggs, 210 exactly. Would you like them ?

This news raises exclamations of joy. Moreoverthey also give us milk and Aurélie will be turning that into pancakes for next breakfast... Egill, the guide on Donna Wood, bring their passengers to shore. They are photography enthusiasts from the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. They all excited to visit the camp and blown away by the videos we took on Renland moulins and glaciers' rills. Their excitation is refreshing.
Around 11pm, as we talk with the crew over a tea in the mess tent, we finally hear the familiar noise of Ingkasi's engine.. We all get out to welcome Laurent, Evrard and Ingkasi and help unload the boat. It's only later during the night that Laurent tells us about their adventures in the fjord as they sailed back from Ittoqqortoormiit …
