After being softly awaken by the exquisite songs of thousands of birds, we keep paddling downstream on a river surprisingly gentle. The riverbanks are much less steep, making the rapids less frequent and lighter than yesterday.

For most of us, a good day start exchanging jokes around the fire with a lyophilized muesli. But Anne-Sophie things happen a little differently, at the top of a tree.

This morning, everyone is at the battle stations. The camp is bursting with excitement as the expedition takes a new turn : no more base camp, we start on a journey down the Lindu river.

Everyone has been together since last night. The last four members of the expedition have joined us which marks the second part of the expedition.

Today, we focus with Tanguy on the Anoa, a small bovine endemic to the island of Sulawesi and at risk of extinction. We will also make a deep foray into the karst upstream of our camp.
